i downloaded cheap trick live at budokan. i love this album.
it makes me want to get out the vinyl .. lay it on an old crusty record player...drop the needle down and go-go dance in my underwear and a f-ed up iron-on wife beater tee .. (but i am me today but its really 1979)
it makes me want to make a tee shirt that makes you feel like you are at a live concert when you have it on.
it makes me want to eat sour cherry pie with mounds of cool whip in a wheat field on a blanket in the rain.
it makes me happy.

hey. i feel like my head is going to blow off my shoulders blahhhhhhhh. in a good way though. so busy here at lipstick prophets, working on mad art, new washes and colors for next season. its gonna be all about bright sumptuous yummy ooey gooey stretchy taffy pull colors. has anyone checked out the "dead teddys" at www.lipstickprophets.com? they are my favorite. wait till you see next season... its off the chain!!

overcast hazy day here in la. its rare for the sun to be hidden, its usually slicing through my retinas and making me feel like i am in a jar. i love these cool dim days. but i cant help but feel sleepy. wish i could call it a day and crawl back into my comfy bed.. but there is to much to do... to much life i gotta live today.
so i am stuck living not sleeping.

got alot to do at lipstick prophets... new socks came in.. we already have the red and white fuck off socks on the website.. now we have pink and white, baby blue and white, and black and white. they are fuckin cute!! they are already selling really well, i hope they dont sell out before they get up on the website!! we are starting to do guys designs too... so many requests for this .. that hourglass design on a dude turns the corner out of emo and into gyno. a mens silhouette is def. in order!

soooo.. last night we went to lilly allen at the wiltern... so ska. so very very ska. brit pop ska though. not brit pop like mika (btw i downloaded the whole mika album from itunes because i love the song grace kelly but the rest of the album is a bit bubble gum brit plop bouncy bouncy sunshine booboo for me..)... and now i sit behind my mac creating the lipstick prophets universe. or maybe its just jogging on the lipstick prophets hamster wheel. they jury is still out on that one.
keep your eyes peeled for lp at journeys (pink rule # 1 shirt you can see it on www.lipstickprophets.com under juniors. if you are in a mall near a journeys pop in and ask for it wont you?... even if you dont buy it mamma said it never hurts to ask.

lipstick prophets thats my scene. today we are shipping an order to hot topic.. weve got tons of people down at the factory tagging, folding, boxing and labeling. no one thinks about how much sweat hides behind a simple tee. so if in a few weeks you are at hot topic and you like the black tee shirt with a gun with pink gummy hearts shooting out of it (the last is silver and broken of course) the illusion is now ruined... little emo fairies didnt sprinkle stardust and *poof and uber cute tee ... 20 immigrants and 10 hipsters foiled over your new shirt. god bless america.
